French man Gregory Gautier the present World No 6 will head the challenge in the Men’s section of this years CIMB Malaysian Open Squash Championship. The women’s category will once again see the local girl Nicole David spearhead competition, Nicole is the present World No. 1 player.
The Indian challenge in the men’s section ended when Indian Number 2 seed Harinder pal Singh Sandhu lost out in the qualifiers. There is hope though as Dipika Pallikal the Indian No. 1 woman’s player made it to the main draw defeating her Malaysian player in straight games.
